Lakeside Cottage

Hi,

I'm Kaye and I brought this beautiful property 2 years ago and I know you will love it as much as I do.

As you can see from the photos the gardens and the lake are stunning. I have just finished a refurbishment of the cottage which is now rated 4 1/2 stars.

I have plans to add extra features to the property over time.

The lake is filled from run off from the roof and gardens and also bore water and I hope to make a waterfall running through a creek bed to the lake beside a sandy beach. Can't wait to feel the sand between my toes.

I would also like to build a Bali retreat, a Japanese garden, a Mexican retreat and have several little paths leading you to a secluded oasis. I will have a country haystack and farmyard fence. I want to make one of the wagons into a covered wagon and am looking for or will build a gipsy style wagon. I welcome any suggestions you may have.

I hope to have another cotttage in time so stay tuned for updates on that too.

The gardens are wonderfull as they are, but I will add more fruit trees. We have a community vegie garden managed by a group of ladies and we are learning as we go.

I will shortly have an outdoor fire pit for romantic nights by a fire.

The outdoor gazebo covered in roses is just perfect for massages in the summeer breeze and the conservatory is great in the colder months.

If you are planning to propose, please give me a call. I have a few suggestions to offer such as a bottle of sparkling wine and glasses in the gazebo with the fountain in lights when you return from dinner. It really is a spectacular sight. Perhaps you would prefer a picninc uner the willows, on the island, beside any of the 3 wagons or take the love of your life for a romantic boat ride on the lake...don't drop the ring. Whatever you choose, it will be a moment you will both remember fondly for ever.

Just acquired a paddle boat. That with the canoe and the row boat will make this summer on the lake even better. The mini golf course around the paths is a great way to spend a summer evening as well. I love summer! I'm looking for an Indian teepee as well to go in the wild west area, so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
